Travis Scott’s show at Terminal 5 in New York on April 30 was memorable for a number of reasons. As well as a guest appearance from Playboi Carti, the show was also marked by a number of fans hanging from balcony railings and diving to the floor below.
During his show at Terminal 5, Travis Scott addressed a fan who was hanging from the balcony railing. “I see you, but are you gon’ do it,” Travis asked him. “They gon’ catch you; don’t be scared!” That fan fell and appeared to be caught by the crowd below.
Later in the show, a different fan was injured after falling from the balcony on the third level and was subsequently hospitalized, a spokesperson for Scott confirmed.
A representative of Travis Scott issued the following statement in response to the incident:
“The safety of everyone is held in the highest regard and we are currently conducting an internal investigation to ensure that this does not happen again,” the statement reads. “We are deeply concerned about the guest who was injured and intend to offer him our support.”
